What is Top Notch?

Top Notch is the largest labor/management association representing union construction in the state of Indiana. Representing more than 75,000 union tradesmen and 4,000 contractors, Top Notch is an association of diverse construction employers and labor organizations, partnering to coordinate the interests and goals of the union construction industry. Our mission is to promote the union construction industry to our customers and our community. As the leaders of our industry, we are skilled on principle, union by choice.

Formed more than three decades ago, Top Notch works to foster a positive exchange between union tradesmen and their management counterparts. As an outside facilitator, Top Notch leads, coordinates, communicates, educates and unifies key associations and labor groups within the Indiana Union Construction Industry.

The contractors and craftsmen of Top Notch are dedicated to the team environment they have worked so hard to create. As in any other industry, employees and employers working together can create success that neither group can achieve on its own.
